Arriving

From Persia to Peterlee, Kirkup to Kenton Bar, Calais to Dover and finding a place to belong. The Arriving gathering brings together people, pistachios and kufta, where we eat, drink and soak up stories of the heart, place and protest. Food and culture collide through an installation of words and music told in English, Persian and Arabic.

The project was created in collaboration with Curious Monkey’s Arriving group - a space for people seeking sanctuary in Newcastle.
