Byker Lookbook

Inspired by the work of Finnish photographer Sirkka-Liisa Konttinen, who documented the world of the Byker Wall Estate in the 1970’s and again in 2009, the Byker Lookbook project handed our community collaborators disposable cameras and, following a series of writing and photography workshops, invited them to capture and describe their world as only they could.
