Me & The Sea

2026 / Blyth Celebrates

'What is there to say about our bonny Blyth?
What is there to say about a lighthouse of a place?
Wind-powered, me-powered, young'uns, art and pleasure-powered...
Marching to work, to the turbines, to the pavilion...
Underground and overground in colour, en masse, like...'

A captivating sound experience celebrating Blyth and its connection to the sea and co-created with members of the Walk & Talk Group, Write Now, Blyth Tall Ship Shanty Singers and the coastal community of NE24. Funded by Blyth Celebrates and launched at the town's new Market Pavilion.
